Transport Paintings
I started the transport series while working as an attorney. Walking around New York City with a digital camera, I photographed people I met and painted their images in new surroundings. Harnessing the power of imagination to transport people to different worlds also reflected my own inner conflict about my position in the world and my desire to find more space for artistic impulses.
